TEAM-X-FACTOR is made up of highly experienced race drivers that are also experienced track officials and driving Instructors. The 8 Directors are officials of an ASA-RACING base organization and have over 200 years of accumulative racing and race management background.
The Directors and their specialties of this organization are:
Larry Pond, Managing Director. Larry is a former professional race driver and founder of The St. Johns Grand Prix professional race event and ASA-Professional AutoSports racing organization. He currently is with ASA-Racing as the Director of the ASA-Racing Educational Series.
David Lopez, Race Director. David is a former driver and as an official has years of experience as a race director and start-finish flag man. He has been a starter for the 24 hours of Daytona.
Jack Andrews, Race Control Director. Jack has been a professional driver and has been a race official for many years. He is a specialist in race control and as a starter flagman.
Kevin Brennan, Tech Director. Kevin is an engineer and has been a driver, crew chief and team engineer in professional racing. Kevin’s specialty is technical inspection of cars for safety and compliance to rules.
John Devine, Driver Education and Timing & Scoring Director. John is a former race driver and current Chief Instructor for race and street car drivers on track. He has also been the Timing & Scoring Chief for an Indy Car test program.
Gene Greenlee, Grid, Pit and Paddock Director. Gene is a long time Corvette racer and a Chief of Grid, Pit and Paddock operations at race events.
Hurley Hatch, Safety Program Director. Hurley has been a race shop manager, crew chief, driver and currently Managing Director of ASA-ProAutoSports track and racing program. He provides safety equipment and track towing equipment.
Vicki Pond, Administration Director. Vicki has years of driver safety equipment experience as a Master WD for Simpson Race Products and other firms. She has provided administration for event registration and insurance functions for over 25 years. She is a founder of the St. Johns Grand Prix racing spectator event.
